Larry A. Fitzgerald Sr, age 59, of South Haven died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at his home.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi Way, Fridley with Rev. John Niewald officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the church one hour prior to services.

Larry Allen Fitzgerald, Sr. was born October 30, 1954 in Rochester to Thomas and Catherine (O'Connell) Fitzgerald.  He was a 1973 graduate of Mayo High School and then Northwest Technical Institute in Minneapolis.  He married Lynnae Tjosaas on September 16, 1978 and since 1985 they have lived on Lake Marie, rural South Haven.  Larry was self-employed in the lawn irrigation business and had owned & operated MN Fitz Billiard Center in Annandale.  He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed hunting, billiards, inventing, & being near the lake.  Dear to him were his wife, children, grandchildren, other family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Lynnae of South Haven, children Larry Jr ( Lisa) of Mankato, Scott (Sarah) of Maple Grove, Jackie (Andy) Gaffaney of Maple Lake, Michael of Kimball, Andrew of Rockville, 7 grandchildren Travis & Ashley Gaffaney, Paige, Mackenzie, Taylor, Austyn & Zander Fitzgerald, sisters & brothers Coleen of Milaca, Tom (Colleen) of Rochester, Sharie (Jim) Sorenson of Rochester, Rosemary (Bob) Kantor of Columbia Heights, Mary Ellen (Jack) Najar of New Braunfels, TX, Glenn (Karia) of Eyota.  His parents and brother Joe preceded him in death.

The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
