Lanette A. Hunt, age 54, of South Haven died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Jerry Nordick officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Lanette Ann Hunt was born April 21, 1953 in St. Cloud to James and Donna (Evans) Walkley. In 1971 she graduated from Kimball Area High School and on November 30, 1974 married Michael W. Hunt. She was a homemaker and worked as a tool assembler for Malco Tools, South Haven. She was a member of St. Anne's Church where she was a CCD Teacher and Song Leader. She was a wonderful Grandma and enjoyed singing karaoke, gardening, swimming, dancing, reading, and time spent in her flowerbeds & at the cabin.
She is survived by her husband Michael of South Haven; children, Ronnie Rose (Daniel) of Kimball, Dave Hunt (Kim) of South Haven, Erin Hunt (Blaine Saukkola) of Kimball; mother, Donna Walkley of Kimball; sister, Nancy Gunnerson (Kevin) of Kimball; and her four grandchildren, Melody & Alexis Rose, Brandon & Noah Shonyo. Her father James, brother Dale and nephew Jesse Gunnerson preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Jeff & Chris Hunt, Tammy & Debbie Duncan, Scott Gunnerson, and Brandon Shonyo. Frosty Schiefelbein, organist and the St. Anne's Choir will provide the music for the service. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
