Krysta Jo Mozena, age 13, of 16413 State Hwy 15, Kimball died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis as a result of an automobile accident in Wright County.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Kimball United Methodist Church with Rev. Heather E. Klason officiating. Burial will follow in Maine Prairie Cemetery, Kimball. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Saturday.
Krysta Jo Mozena was born June 3, 1993 in St. Cloud to Dale Dean Mozena and Julie Ann (Kleve) Mozena. She would have been an eighth grader at Kimball Area High School where she was active in the arts, choir and softball. She enjoyed her pets & animals, fishing, drawing, writing poems and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her father, Dale of Kimball; mother, Julie of West Union; twin sister, Kayla of West Union; sister, Jessie Skalsky of Browerville; brother, Christopher Kleve of Sauk Centre; grandparents, Dean & Karen Mozena of Kimball, Earl & Carol Hoffman of Avon; great grandmother, Virginia Newman of Annandale; 1 niece; 1 nephew; also several aunts, uncles & cousins. Her other great grandparents and a great aunt preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Brandon & Brice Hoffman, Robert & Ryan Sendy, and Nick & Luke Strodtman. The music for the service will be provided by Jamie Miller, organist and Esther Marks, soloist. The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
