Kevin J. "KJ" Sukut, age 50, of South Haven, formerly of Minneapolis, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at his home.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Kevin Jay Sukut was born on February 21, 1963 in Moline, IL to Lillian Sukut. He entered the military and proudly served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. KJ married Diana Maxwell on April 11, 2005 in Buffalo, MN. He worked for Minnesota Department of Transportation until 2003, in which he then began working for Hennepin County as a senior sign worker.

KJ enjoyed collecting penguins, hunting, motorcycles, guns, the outdoors, dogs, cooking and grilling. He enjoyed visiting with people, as he was blessed with the gift of gab. KJ took great joy in his family, especially his granddaughter.

KJ is survived by his wife, Diana of Fort Worth, TX; son, Jeremy (fiancé, Stephanie Adair) Sukut of Crystal, MN; granddaughter, Zoey Sukut; and mother, Lillian Sukut of South Haven, MN.

Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
