Kelsey Nicole Hanson, age 16, of Watkins died Wednesday morning, March 30, 2005 as a result of an automobile accident on her way to school.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the Kimball Church of Christ with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating. Burial will follow in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Saturday and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church in Kimball. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
Kelsey Nicole Hanson was born September 23, 1988 in Grand Forks, ND to Gregory W. and Lina B. (Risland) Hanson. She grew up in the Kimball area and was employed in the Photo Lab at Snyder Drugs, Cold Spring. Kelsey was in the Sophomore Class at Kimball Area High School where she was active in speech, choir, band, drama, golf and One Act Play. She was extremely supportive and loyal to her friends. Kelsey enjoyed hunting, music, helping people, hamburgers, pepperoni pizza, animals and small children. She planned on becoming an elementary teacher.
She is survived by her mother, Lina Conradson & her husband Leon of St. Joseph; father, Gregory Hanson & his wife Teresa of Watkins; sister, Jamie Rae Hanson of St. Joseph; grandparents, Norman & Rayetta Risland of Rice, DuWayne & Ruth Hanson of Backus; great grandmother, Anna Hanson of Thief River Falls; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
