Obituary
Kathleen M. Scepaniak, age 87, of Howard Lake, previously of Maple Lake and Holdingford, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be at St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery, Holdingford. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.
Kathleen M. Scepaniak was born on September 4, 1921 in Maple Lake to William and Kathryn (Kotilinek) Vokaty. She married John Scepaniak in Maple Lake and he preceded her in death in 1995.
She is survived by her brother in law, Don Heimbecker of Maple Lake; nephew, John (Mary Ann) Horstman of Columbia, MS; and niece, Cathy (Stuart) McCracken of Durham, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; twin brother, Winfield Vokaty; sisters, Madeline Heimbecker and Lucille Hamilton.
Pallbearers will be Don Heimbecker, John, Jay, Tyler and Zachary Horstman. Marge Pavlik, organist and the Resurrection Choir will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
