Julieanna Livine Sangren was born December 14, 1935, in Cokato to Harold and Gladys (Freden) Sangren. She grew up in Stockholm Township and graduated from Cokato High School in 1952.

On October 15, 1955, Julie married Richard Harvey Orn at Stockholm Lutheran Church near Cokato. Together, they owned and operated Kingston Hardware for over 30 years. They were also passionate about giving back, exemplified by their generous donation of land and materials for the Kingston Veterans Park.

Over the years, Julie's joy for life was evident in every gathering. A social butterfly at heart, she delighted in keeping up with friends and family, always eager to know what was happening in their lives. Whether it was bowling in her younger years or doing a word search book and cell phone solitaire, she found happiness in simple pleasures. Julie's vibrant spirit shone through in her love for dancing, a passion she discovered when she first met Dick at Sherman Station near Winsted. She was also an avid photo collector, always capturing memories that would become treasured family heirlooms.

She survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard of Kingston; children, Kim Orn of St. Cloud and Jim (Kristie) of Kimball; grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Orn of Colorado Springs and Kody (Megan) Orn of Kingston; great-grandchildren, Jonah, Eliza, and Inez Orn and Lillian Jones; brother, Charles Sangren of Dassel; sister-in-law, Janet Sangren of Cokato; brother-in-law, Howard Orn; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gladys; brothers, Byron and Kenneth Sangren; sisters-in-law, Voni Sangren, Marguerite Orn, and Ann Orn; brother-in-law, William Orn.

Music for the service will be provided by Whitney, Jonah, Eliza, and Inez Orn, and Lillian Jones. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Kimball.

Special thank you to the entire staff at Dassel Lakeside Nursing home for the amazing care they gave to Julie.
