Judy A. Paumen, age 63, of Maple Lake, died Friday November 11, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Maple Lake with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Judy Ann Paumen was born on July 8, 1959, in Watertown, Minnesota to Roland and Gladys (Huncha) Hayes. She attended high school in Buffalo and graduated with the class of 1977. Judy was united into marriage to Dale Paumen on November 21, 1987, at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Judy was a devoted and dedicated wife. She worked for 34 years as a cook for Maple Lake School District. Judy cherished time spent in her garden and canning vegetables for her family. Her spicy pickles and, most importantly, her unconditional love will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Judy is survived by her husband, Dale Paumen of Maple Lake; brother, Steve Hayes of Montrose; brothers-in-law, Mark (Kris) Paumen of Monticello, Keith (Florence) Paumen of Maple Lake, and Neil (Chris) Paumen of Maple Lake; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Gladys Hayes; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and LaVonne Paumen. Tom Huncha, Mike Huncha, Nick Paumen, Matt Griffith, Keith Paumen, Neil Paumen, and Mark Paumen will serve as casket bearers. Krista Elsenpeter and Shannon Paumen will provide music for the service.
