Judith "Judy" Lusti, age 80, of Annandale, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Eric Rapp officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Finnish National Cemetery, French Lake. Memorials are preferred to the Busy Needles at Zion Lutheran Church or Pioneer Park.

Judith Marilyn Stelton was born on March 6, 1946, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, to Gilbert and Betsy (VanNurden) Stelton. Judy grew up in Kimball and was a graduate of Kimball High School in 1964. She later furthered her education at St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Judy worked at the Annandale and Maple Lake floral shops, in the bakery at Red Owl, and at Minnesota Meat Masters. Her last job was as a paraprofessional for Kimball Elementary School.

On September 17, 1965, she married the love of her life, Darrell Lusti, at the Church of Christ in Kimball. Judy and Darrell made their home in Annandale, where they raised their two children. Darrell tragically died at the age of 46. Judy continued to make her home in Annandale until moving to Garden View at Hilltop in Watkins in 2020, and Hilltop Care Center for the past year.

Judy was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale. Judy contributed her talents to the church choir and actively participated in the Busy Needles group, where her creativity flourished alongside her friends. She was also a longtime member and volunteer for Pioneer Park. She also gave back to her community by volunteering at the County Fair, where she helped with the demolition derby and bingo.

Judy's interests included collecting dolls, spending time camping, and finding simple joy in coloring and working on word search puzzles. She had a kind heart for animals, often taking care of stray cats that found shelter under her deck. Judy was a gifted quilter and seamstress, generously sharing her talents with the Buffalo Community Theater. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Kimberly (Daniel) Salo of Richmond and Bradley (Shelly) Lusti of Buffalo; grandchildren, Eli, Erin, and Emma Salo, Katelynn and Abigail Lusti, and Isabella (Zachary) Michuda; siblings, Allen (Barb) Stelton of Buffalo and Harold (Sue) Stelton of Annandale; siblings-in-law, Carolyn (Mike) McChesney of Annandale, Dale (Julie) Lusti of Park Rapids, and Mark Lusti of Cedar Rapids, IA; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Betsy Stelton; parents-in-law, Vernon and Beatrice Lusti; and, husband, Darrell.

Judy's grandchildren will serve as casket bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
