Joyce A. Kotzer, age 81, of Fairhaven, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Fairhaven. Joyce Audrey Dahnke was born July 15, 1942, in Fairhaven Township, Stearns County to Edward and Clara (Brunko) Dahnke. She grew up in Fairhaven, and attended Fairhaven School. On July 18, 1959, she was united in marriage to Victor Kotzer. They made their home in the Fairhaven area, where they raised their four children, Julie, Ron, Jan, and Tom. Joyce enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and cats, and tending to her flower garden. She is survived by her children, Julie (Wayne) Hentges of South Haven, Ron (Marie) of St. Cloud, and Tom (Kelly) of Clearwater; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Katy, Jackie, Ryan, Kristin, Ashley, and Amy; 4 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler, Tanner, and Jack; significant other, Allen "Toby" Vadner; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; daughter, Janice Blascziek; and siblings, Fern Foreman and Myron Dahnke. Joyce's family will serve as urn bearers.
