Jon Neil McMenamy, age 82, of Annandale, died on September 22, 2026, at the Buffalo Hospital just days after receiving a cancer diagnosis.

Friends and Family are invited to gather in celebration of Jon's life at Billy D's Tavern on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. during the Minnesota Vikings Game. Inurnment will be at Pleasant View Columbarium in Annandale on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Jon Neil McMenamy was born on June 26, 1944, in Grand Forks, ND to James and Myrtle (Lee) McMenamy. He attended high school at Grand Forks Central before embarking on a career as a lineman, ultimately retiring as a lineman supervisor from Connexus Energy.

In 1975, Jon married Pamela Pratt in Anoka. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their family, first in Coon Rapids and later in Ramsey. Eventually, they moved to Lake Havasu, AZ where they enjoyed their retirement years together. After Pam's passing in 2017, Jon moved to Annandale to be closer to his family.

Throughout his life, Jon enjoyed a multitude of pastimes that brought him joy. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, he loved going on Ranger rides, and spending time on the golf course. In his youth, trap shooting and farming were favored activities. And, of course, he enjoyed sharing a cold Busch Light with family and friends, celebrating life's simple pleasures.

He is survived by his children, Cindy (Mike) Jenson and Barb (Mark) Olean, both of Annandale; grandchildren, Eric Weber, Taylor (Christopher) Johnson, Trevor (Mike) Kulzer-Olean, and Tanner (Emeral) Olean; great-grandchildren, Porter, Pace, and Leona Olean; siblings, Betty Schmidt and Ron (Geri) McMenamy; sister-in-law, Connie McMenamy; and nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Jon was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 42 years, Pam; grandson, Daniel Olean; siblings, Jim and David McMenamy; and siblings-in-law, Judy McMenamy and Jerry Schmidt.

Jon's grandchildren will serve as urn bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services.
