Mr. John P. `Jack` Jude, age 85, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.
John Paul `Jack` Jude was born June 18, 1918 in Maple Lake to Paul and Margaret (Riodan) Jude. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. John married Eileen J. Scott June 7, 1948 in Wilmot, SD. He lived in Maple Lake all his life where he was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church. John worked for Wright-Hennepin Electric, Maple Lake for 4 years before becoming the custodian at St. Timothy`s Catholic School and Parish for 30 years retiring in 1981. He loved his family, church, Marriage Encounter, farming, building things, reading, traveling, camping, western books and movies.
John is survived by his wife, Eileen of Maple Lake; daughters and sons, Anita (Ray) Walker of Arcadia, CA, Kevin Jude of White Bear Lake, Charles Jude of Hopkins, Brian Jude of Maple Lake, Nancy (David) Johnson of Murieta, CA, Paul (Tanya) Jude of Maple Lake; brothers, Rev. Robert J. Jude and Clifton Jude both of Maple Lake. His parents; and granddaughter, Cheryl Bauer preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Paul, Brian, Charles, and Kevin Jude
