Mr. John V. Elsenpeter, age 38, of Annandale died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in Mound due to injuries received in a construction accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 8-9 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
John Vernon Elsenpeter was born July 16, 1966 in Buffalo to Clifford J. and Catherine G. (Barthel) Elsenpeter. He was a 1984 graduate of Buffalo High School. John married Janice M. Kramer October 9, 1993 in Buffalo. He lived most of his life in Buffalo before moving to Annandale 3 years ago. He worked as a carpenter and foreman for Edward Kraemer & Sons of Plain, WI for the past 16 years. John was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake and the Carpenter & Joiners Union Local #851. He loved his family, friends, helping others, auctions, gardening, canning, smoking meats, fishing, and hunting.
John is survived by his wife, Janice; and sons, Jake J. and Jay R. of Annandale; parents, Clifford & Catherine of Buffalo; brothers and sisters, Jim (Pat) of Buffalo, Sue (Karl) Kiphuth of Hanover, Joe (Jennie) of Buffalo, and George of Buffalo; in laws, Dick & Elaine Och; sisters in law, Marilyn (Joe) Blizil, Tonya Hoekstra, and Kristy (Shaun) Sitzman; brothers in law, Brian Kramer, Scott Kramer, and Chad (Ann) Och; and many nieces; and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny, Jerry, Rick, Mike, and Kenny Elsenpeter, David Liefert, Tim Marquette, and Brad Ordorff. Music for the funeral provided by Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz.
A Memorial fund will be set up at Wells Fargo Bank, 101 1st Ave S. Buffalo MN 55313.
