Obituary
Joan P. Krolak, age 76, of Buffalo died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in downtown Buffalo with Fr David Hennen officiating. Memorials are preferred to CurePSP.org and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Joan Patricia Krolak was born the oldest daughter of Paul & Arvilla (Buckwalter) Bagan on July 11, 1937 in Jamestown, ND. She graduated from Jamestown High School and studied Home Economics at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. She married Daniel Krolak on August 30, 1958 in Jamestown and started their life together in Minneapolis. They raised their 7 children in Richfield & Bloomington and recently they lived in Annandale and the past 4 years in Buffalo. Joan's passion was cooking & birds and she enjoyed her involvement with Band Boosters, Meals on Wheels, & Quilting Club. She was a homemaker, a religious education teacher, and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband Dan of Buffalo, children Michael (Sharon) of Glendale, AZ, Mark (Rhonda) of Edina, Steven (Sarah) of Buffalo, Timothy of Buffalo, Jeanne (Alex) Caran of Littleton, CO, Christopher (Nicole) of Savage, Joseph (Emily) of Lakeville, sisters & brother Paula Bushard of Denver, CO, Thomas (Carol) Bagan of Lake Forest, IL, Patricia Hansen of Naples, FL, 15 grandchildren Stephanie (James), Krista, Alex, Jonathan, David, Danielle, Taylor, Drew, Matthew, Tyler, Amy, Bailey, Kira, April & Peter, and 2 great grandsons Tyler & Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Bagan, brother in law Joseph Bushard, and niece Michelle Morgan.
