Jerry L. `Jake` Kanouse, age 55, of Hebron, ND died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Annandale.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel with Rev. Marilee Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel in Annandale.
Jerry Lee `Jake` Kanouse was born August 16, 1950 in Livingston, MT to Jack and Betty (Baustadt) Kanouse. He married Deborah Lee James in Bremerton, WA on August 16, 1982 upon which they lived in Annandale until 2002 when he moved to Hebron, ND. Jake did drywall & painting work and later drove truck doing delivery & pick up work for Dayton`s Furniture, Annandale. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
He is survived by wife, Deborah of Annandale; children, April of Longview, WA, Mindy of Bremerton, WA, Jeremy of Hebron, ND, Justin & Joshua of Annandale; brother, Gary (Eloise) of Bremerton, WA. His parents and sister, Roxanne McCurdy preceded him in death.
