Jerome 'Buddy' Kiehn, age 70, of Annandale died Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Annandale Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Jerome John 'Buddy' Kiehn was born February 23, 1939 to John Christian and Ethel Violet (Erickson) Kiehn on his family's farm in Southside Township. He was a 1957 graduate of Annandale High School and married Beverly Ann Dubs on July 1, 1972; she preceded him in death on June 19, 2006. Agriculture was his love and he farmed in the Annandale area his entire life. Buddy was a member of the Forest City Threshers and St. John's Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his toy tractor collection, antique tractors, watching basketball, NASCAR, and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two children & their spouses Bruce & Joyce Kiehn of Litchfield, Becky & Tony Boyce of Hugo, brother in law Dennis Dubs & his wife Gail of Harrisburg, PA, three grandchildren, Katlyn & John Kiehn and Lyndee Boyce.

The pallbearers will be Dub Ferrell, Jim Hallstrom, Don Daniels, Jim Fiedler, Dave Manke, Tom Segner, and Melvin Alama. The music for the service will be provided by Mark & Ardis Nelson and Orma Lou Jacobsma. The grandchildren will provide a special tribute and Mary Lovold will read scripture. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
