Jeffrey D. Cox, age 28, of Annandale, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at his home after a struggle with brain cancer. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Annandale. A Celebration of Jeff's life will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10 at the Annandale City Park Pavilion. Jeffrey David Cox was born March 29, 1990 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. He attended Annandale High School with the Class of 2008. Jeff worked as a home health aide. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball, throwing beanbags, gaming with his brothers and uncles, and snoozin' with his dog. He is survived by his parents David Cox of Annandale and Tiffany (Martin) Opem of Elk River; brothers Brandon (Ashley) Cox of Brownton and Mathew Cox of Annandale; grandparents Lee and Karen Cox of Champlin, Charles and Vicki Stenson of Rolla, MO and Johnelle Opem of Elk River; girlfriend Amanda Fobbe; dog Indy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Martin Opem.
