Obituary
Jeanne Roth, age 82, of Annandale died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia as the Celebrant. Interment will be at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Gathering Space from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday. There will be a prayer service 6:45 p.m. Friday. Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House.
Mary Jeanne Roth was born March 26, 1930 at Caledonia, Minnesota to Leo and Florence (Coleman) McManimon. She married William P. Roth on July 18, 1949 at Rushford, Minnesota and since 1955 they have lived at Annandale. Jeanne was a homemaker and also worked as secretary at the Roth Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, the Council of Catholic Women and a member of the Cemetery Board, assisting in the restoration of St. Ignatius Cemetery. She was a member of the Annandale Improvement Club and a founding board member of the Annandale Care Center. She enjoyed time with family, playing bridge with friends, gardening, antiquing, interior decorating, traveling, golfing and entertaining.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Bill of Annandale, children Kathleen & Mike Jasper of Grand Rapids, Greg & Audrey Roth of Annandale, Suzanne & Pat McArdle of Forest Lake, Gretchen & John Kittok of Annandale, Jennifer Roth of Annandale, 19 grandchildren Molly Jasper (Aran Dahl), Matt (Katie) Jasper, Anna Roth, Heather (Tim) Jurek, Tami (Chris) Denny, Zach Roth, David, Danny & Meghan Roth, Katie & Michael McArdle, Bridget (Bill) Guck, Brennan, Peter & Anne Kittok, Meghan, Molly, Hannah & Ryan Ashwill, 3 great grandchildren Jasper Dahl, Allyson & Brady Jurek, and sister Ann Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, son David, and brother Pat McManimon.
The urn bearers will be Jeanne and Bill's children and the honorary urn bearers will be their grandchildren. The music for the service will be provided by St. Ignatius Music Ministry and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
