Mr. James B. 'Jim' Taylor, age 69, of Pequot Lakes, formerly Minnetonka died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center, Pine River.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Buffalo Covenant Church, Buffalo with Rev. Brett Schmidt and Rev. Carl Taylor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
James Brown 'Jim' Taylor was born August 30 1935 in St. Paul to Allyn C. and Amelia B. (Walstrom) Taylor. He served his Country in the U.S. Army and married Sue E. Seashore August 4, 1979 in Buffalo. He was an insurance salesman for Allstate Insurance Company working the Minneapolis area 35 years and retired in 1998. He lived in Minnetonka for many years before moving to Pequot Lakes in 1998. James loved his family, playing cards, trivia, crossword puzzles, building wood furniture, and being a handyman.
James is survived by his wife, Sue of Pequot Lakes; sons, Brad (Patrice) of Minnetonka, Paul of Seattle, and Dave of Duluth; brother Allyn of Rotonda West, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Emily & Zach. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Meryl.
