James V. Palmisano, age 71, of South Haven died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at his home.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. The St. Ignatius Guitar Group will provide the music for the service. Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospice or St. Cloud Laryngectome Miracle Voices.

James V. Palmisano was born August 27, 1933 in Chicago to Vincenzio and Ignazia (Arrigo) Palmisano. He married Colleen Blowers Bosacker on August 12, 1977 in Minneapolis and they have lived on Lake Sylvia, rural South Haven the past 12 years, previously living in Maplewood. Jim was retired from Americraft Co., St. Paul as the printing department manager. He enjoyed family, friends, fishing and being the neighborhood Mr. Fix-It.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen of South Haven; daughter, Cheryl DeClercq & her husband, Craig of Maple Grove; 3 grandchildren, Courtney, Christoffer & Camille DeClercq; brother, Geraldo (Hilma) of Woodbury, IL; sister, Rose (Tony) Esposito of Syracuse, NY; brother in law, Daryl Blowers of Phoenix, AZ; also several nieces & nephews. His first wife, Rosalie and son, Charles Christian preceded him in death.
