He moved to Minnesota in 2000. James lived with foster parents, Dick and Leanne Evenson, for 2 years in Pequot Lakes, before moving into his new home in Kimball in May of 2004. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, snowboarding, cheering on Green Bay, gummy bears, and Mt. Dew. James loved his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. He had a witty sense of humor, which he often used to get out of trouble or to attract new friends. James had a knack for brightening anyone's day and taught us how to love life and one another.
