James P. Hauwiller, age 68, of South Haven died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Memorial Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Friends may call from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
James Paul Hauwiller was born February 6, 1940 in Victoria to Francis A. and Catherine (Schug) Hauwiller. He served his country in the Navy. James was self employed as a roofer for 49 years. He was an avid bowler, fisherman and loved to watch any sport.
He is survived by his daughters, Ann Marie (Ken) Tsoi of Buffalo and Karen (Jeff) Elsenpeter of Buffalo; son, Kenneth (Karen) Hauwiller of Clearwater; sisters, Rose (Gerald) Laumann of Waconia, Margaret (Ray) Eckers of St. Louis Park and Sister Lois Hauwiller of New Hope; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. His parents preceded him in death.
