Obituary




Mr. Irving W. Blizil, age 74, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2004 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Irving William Blizil was born October 17, 1929 in Maple Lake to William A. and Mary L. (Vorachek) Blizil. He married Dorothy P. Kotilinek May 6, 1952. Irving lived in Maple Lake most of his life where he farmed and was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church. He loved his family, enjoyed old time music, hunting, fishing, farming, and camping with his family.

Irving is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Maple Lake; sons and daughter, Thomas (Denise) of Maple Lake, Steven (Lori) of Maple Lake, Susan (Mark) Peters of Buffalo, Joseph (Marilyn) of Maple Lake; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary; and brother, Clifford Sr.

Pallbearers will be Robert Rassat, James Schmitz, Jeffrey Paumen, Clifford Blizil Jr., Charlie Mehr, and Loren Wurm. Music for the funeral provided by Marge Pavlik and St. Timothy`s Resurrection Choir.
