Irma M. Dalman, age 89, of Silver Creek died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at home.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek with Rev. David Fretham officiating. A private family inurnment will be in Corinna Cemetery, rural Annandale. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Irma Marian Dalman was born June 10, 1914 in Corinna Township, Wright County to Albert and Margaret (Klemz) Klemz. She married John Dalman September 24, 1935 and they later divorced. Irma was a cook at the Monticello-Big Lake Hospital for many years, retiring in 1978. She lived in Maple Lake Township, Wright County before moving to Silver Creek in 1975. Irma was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Silver Creek. She loved Sunday dinners with her family, crocheting, gardening, cooking, baking, and painting.
Four children, Rhoda Clayton of St.Cloud, Marlo Dalman of Campbell, TX, Carol Dalman of Annandale, and Jeanne Pemberton of Silver Creek; sisters, Laura Schut of Becker and Irene Gordon of Buffalo; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren survive Irma. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughters, Tammy & Teresa Pemberton; grandson, David Elletson; and great granddaughter, Shannan Elletson.
Delores Hayes will be the organist for the funeral. Rev. David & Darlene Fretham, and Leland Schut and Lola Veches will sing duets.
Memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice or the Immanuel Lutheran Organ Fund.
