Irene M. Ruona, age 88, of Maple Lake, Minnesota, died March 10, 2008, peacefully at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Chokio, Minnesota, with Rev. Peter Martinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Chokio Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service.
Irene Margaret Ruona was born March 30, 1919, in Hector, Minnesota, to William and Bertha Brown Ehlers. On November 26, 1938, she was united in marriage to Harvey L. Ruona in Esterville, Iowa. Irene was a loving wife to Harvey for 66 A
