Obituary
Mrs. Irene Lantto, age 90, of Annandale died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Our Saviour`s Lutheran Church, French Lake with Rev. Edward Groop officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, French Lake. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. There will be a prayer service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Irene Lantto was born April 10, 1915 in Albion Township, Wright County to Ellis and Elizabeth (Unger) Forare. She married George A. Lantto in 1933 in Wright County and he preceded her in death April 22, 1991. Irene lived in the Annandale area all her life where she was a homemaker and member of Our Saviour`s Lutheran Church, French Lake.
Irene is survived by six sons and their spouses, Paul (Geraldine) of Golden Valley, Joseph (Marcia) of Buffalo, Thomas (Lilia) of Buffalo, Curtis (Christina) of Chaska, Timothy (Pamela) of Elk River, and Todd (Gayle) of Chanhassen; five grandchildren, David, Charlene, Sarah, Joshua, and Harry Lantto. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Atterbury, Lydia Julin, Elsie McDonald, and Elma Lantto; brothers, Edward, George, and Ben Forare.
Pallbearers will be her six sons, Paul, Joseph, Thomas, Curtis, Timothy, and Todd.
