Irene R. Bouska, age 88, of Annandale, passed away peacefully at her son's home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 28, 2010.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Fr. Victor Valencia will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church.

Irene Rose Bouska was born August 9, 1921 in Holdingford to Peter and Regina (Young) Thielman. She married Charles Bouska on August 16, 1941 in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1992. In her younger years, Irene enjoyed fishing, dancing and traveling. She loved flowers, had a green thumb and enjoyed doing crafts. Irene's love was her family; she especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Linda Sanderson of Live Oak, FL, Brad (Sharon) of Annandale and Jacalyn (Michael) Vales of The Villages, FL; sister, Laura Bixby of Pine City; nine grandchildren, Teresa (Jeff) Zuehl, Shannon (Jake) Piram, Justin (Deonna) Bouska, Heather (Craig) Moseley, Tanya (Pat) Doble, Jacob Nelson, Lucas (Frannie) Vales, Laura Wylie and Alicia Anderson; eight great grandchildren, Braden, Seaver, Geonette, Tyler, Connor, Shawn, Samantha and baby boy Piram. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Regina; husband, Charles; son, Charles, Jr.; grandson, Kurt; sisters, Ester Thielman, Gladys Optholt, Hy Pollard-Blake and Bobbie Lentz; and brother, Ralph Thielman.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Nelson, Justin Bouska, Lucas Vales, Patrick Doble, Craig Moseley, Jeff Zuehl and Jake Piram. The St. Ignatius Guitar Group will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
