Howard E. Hall, age 73, of Cokato died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Buffalo Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Albion Evangelical Free Church, 11480 5th Street NW, Cokato with Rev. Philip Geoffrion officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the Church.
Howard Eugene Hall was born September 23, 1933 at Burlingame, Kansas to Thomas and Nellie (Coffman) Hall. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Sonar Technician aboard the Submarine Trumpetfish. He attended Kansas State University in Manhattan and took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration as a Systems Engineer retiring from the Farmington, MN office in 1990. Since then he has owned & operated Gunstop Enterprises in Glen Lake. He married Joyce (Anderson) Swenson on February 20, 1993 in Minnetonka and they have lived on Cokato Lake the past year. He attended Albion Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting & fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Cokato; children, Susan (Mark) Pannwitz of Parker, CO, Brent (Sue) Hall of Mound, Sara (Jerry) Traver of Chaska; step children, Sharon (Wayne) Johnson of Raleigh, NC, David (Dawn) Swenson of Maple Grove, Eric Swenson of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Andrew, Spencer, Naomi, Sam, Bennett, Mason, Kaitlyn, Brittni, Callie, Marshal & Brittney; sister, Helen Stout of Burlingame, KS; and Glen & Shirley Jennings of Burlingame, KS.
The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
