Obituary
Herbert W. Hanson, age 90, of St. Cloud died Friday, September 6, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, 17250 30th Street NW, South Haven with Rev. Michael Nelson officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
Herbert Walter Hanson was born October 14, 1922 in French Lake Township, Wright County to Alfred and Edith (Ortquist) Hanson. He married Ellen L. Ranta on August 31, 1946 at North Crow River Lutheran Church, rural Cokato. He did carpenter work and was a farmer, especially enjoying raising of Angus Cattle. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife Ellen of St. Cloud, sister in law Gladys Hanson of South Haven and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Rosilyn Isaacson and brother Leroy Hanson.
