Obituary
Henry M. Flaschenriem, age 77, of Maple Lake died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Sunrise Cottages, Buffalo where he has been a resident the past 2 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. David Hennen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Buffalo. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Henry Matthew Flaschenriem was born February 6, 1935 in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County to Frank and Margaret (Steman) Flaschenriem. He was a 1953 graduate of Kimball High School and was a farmer working many years for Pete & Charlene Mavencamp. He married Lisa Elfmann on May 4, 1996 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Buffalo. Henry was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church and enjoyed making ceramic cows and collecting model tractors & wind chimes.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of Maple Lake, brother Gerald (Mona) of St. Cloud, sister Linda of Blaine, father & mother in law Edgar & Mary Ann Elfmann of Maple Lake, brothers & sisters in law Ann Elfmann of Blaine, Kim & Russ Gavin of Staples, Julie Paumen of Maple Lake, and Jason Elfmann of Maple Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Nick & Dale, sister Rita Dropps, and brother in law Wallace Dropps.
The pallbearers will be Jason Elfmann, Steve Mooney, LeRoy Elfmann, Corey Flynn, Nick Flaschenriem, & Charles Mavencamp and Gerald Flaschenriem will be an honorary pallbearer. The music for the service will be provided by Marge Pavlik, organist and the St. Timothy's Resurrection Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
