Henrietta "Penny" Anderson, age 93, of Annandale, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Henrietta Anderson was born April 3, 1923 in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota to James and Josephine (Olbekson) Sterriker. At a young age, Penny moved with her family to Annandale where she graduated high school with the Annandale Class of 1941. Following graduation, Penny began working for the Annandale Telephone Company. On April 15, 1950 she was united in marriage to Oscar John Anderson. While raising her two children, Penny worked for Arenson's Pharmacy until she retired on December 14, 1989. In her spare time, Penny enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and traveling. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.

Penny is survived by her daughter, Marlyne (Warren) Cadwell of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Melanie (Alec) Ross of Austin, TX and Philip Cadwell of Oklahoma City, OK; siblings, Irene Patenaude of St. Cloud and James Sterriker of Wayzata; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oscar, son Richard, and siblings Ethel Miller and Marvin Sterriker.

Scott Seanor, Virgil Miller, Kevin Miller and Paul Braun will serve as urnbearers. Becky Unger will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
