Helene M. Buchkosky, age 90, of Annandale, died Friday, July 11, 2003 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2003 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with the Rev. officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Helene Marie Buchkosky was born September 23, 1912 to Michael and Anna (Waldherr) Zinniel in Minneapolis. She married Walter Buchkosky on August 31, 1938 in Minneapolis; he preceded her in death on January 17, 1993. For 21 years she was employed by Toro in Bloomington, she retired in 1973. Helene lived in Golden Valley before moving to Annandale in 1980 where she was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, and a former member of the Golden Valley Country Club. Helene loved to volunteer at Camp Friendship and the Annandale Care Center.
Helene is survived by nephew and nieces, Jim (Mary Rose) Zinniel of Brooklyn Park, Janice (William) LaBreche of Hayward, WI, and Lynne (David) High of Plymouth. Her husband, brother, Roy, and niece, Jeanne Irving, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Zinniel, Eric Johnson, Eric Wise, Keith Solorz, Andy High, Will LaBreche, and Sandy Bell.
