Obituary
Mrs. Helen I. Young, age 88, of 9339 S. Hwy. 97, Klamath Falls, OR died December 31, 2003 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball, MN with Rev. Heather E. Klason officiating. Burial will follow in the Maine Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Helen Ida Young was born October 26, 1915 at Kimball to Walter and Ella Mae (Greeley) Spaulding. She married Kenneth E. Young on January 2, 1937 at Kimball and he preceded her in death on September 4, 1991. She was a homemaker and resided in Long Beach, CA until moving to Klamath Falls six months ago.
She is survived by her three sons & their spouses, Gary & Pamela of Detroit Lakes, MN, Robert of Rialto, CA, Dennis & Heidi of Klamath Falls, OR; sister, Marie Sherk of Foley; brother, Milton Spaulding & his wife Gladys of Kimball; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Her husband and brothers, Glen & Loren preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Gary Caauwe, David Seutter, Neil Spaulding, LuVern Spaulding, Jerome Mechavich, & Garrel Sherk. The music for the service will be provided by Karen Lundgren & Corinne Setterlund, vocalists and Kathy Queck, pianist.
