Obituary
Helen I. Hendrickson, age 88, of Annandale died Thursday, December 25, 2003 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Annandale United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilee Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Helen Ida Hendrickson was born October 29, 1915 to Hugo and Bertha (Dahm) Groves in Southside Township, Wright County and lived her entire lifetime in the Annandale area. She married Ernest B. Hendrickson on November 29, 1930 in St. Cloud and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1986. She was a cook for various Annandale restaurants for over 50 years and was a member of the Annandale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her friends and doing quilting work.
She is survived by her four daughters, Betty Smith of Florence, OR, Gail Evenski of Howard Lake, Jacqueline Hendrickson of Las Vegas, NV, Bonnie Hayes & her husband, Bradley of Buffalo; sister, Dorothy Schiltz of Reno, NV; sister in law, Mary Thuleen of Kimball; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons in law, Byron Smith & Orvin Evenski; brother, Adolph Groves; half brothers, Roscoe & James Thuleen; and brother in law, Quinton Schiltz.
The pallbearers will be Jeff, Andy, & Alex Evenski, Shaun & Shane James, and Dave Enger.
