Obituary
Mrs. Hazel J. Schut, age 89, of Lake Ridge Manor, Buffalo died Thursday, August 29, 2002 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial services were held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2002 at the Silver Creek Community Church with Rev. Robert VandeVord officiating. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Creek Township, Wright County. Hazel`s sons and sons in law served as pallbearers.
Hazel J. Schut was born November 11, 1912 in Maple Lake to Martin and Kathryn (Klynstra) Dalman. She married Henry J. Schut September 4, 1935 in Silver Creek Township and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1981. Living most of her life in the Maple Lake area, she was a homemaker, gardener, seamstress, and lifelong member of Silver Creek Community Church (formerly Silver Creek Reformed Church).
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Dr. Lawrence & Loretta of Maple Lake, Wayne & Joyce of Rochester, Marilyn & John Lee of St. Cloud, Darlene & Ed Scott of Flemington, NJ, Linda & Douglas Foster of Wyoming, MN, Lois & Charles Bakker of Rockford; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Lester Dalman of Buffalo, Vernon Dalman of Plymouth, Harvey Dalman of Minneapolis, and Harold Dalman of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Steven Lee; sisters, Sylvia Dalman and Mildred Philbin; and brother, Kenneth Dalman.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake, Minnesota.
