Harry W. Hunt Sr., age 84, of Annandale died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at his home in Corinna Township.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services.

Harry Wendell Hunt, Sr. was born May 19, 1925 in St. Cloud to Harry and Wilma (Winchell) Hunt. He married Margaret 'Peggy' Tobin on May 29, 1954 and she preceded him in death on August 30, 1999. Harry worked many years for the University of Minnesota as a foreman in the furniture repair shop until retiring in 1986. He enjoyed fishing and following the Minnesota Twins.

He is survived by his children & their spouses Harry Jr. & Margaret of Medina & their daughters Katelyn & Keely, Becky Koosman of Waverly & her children April, Brittany, Benjamin, Jenna & Julia, Michelle & Marty Johnson of Rockford & son Blake, brother Neal Hunt of Rutherfordton, NC, sister Jean Borman of Brooklyn Center.

The St. Ignatius Guitar Group will provide the music for the service and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
