Grant Joseph Glazier, age 21, of Annandale died Monday, February 2, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Rev. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Annandale. 5 - 9 p.m. on Friday, friends may come to the Annandale Middle School `A` gym. There will be a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
Grant was born April 27, 1982 in St. Cloud to Greg `Sonny` and Connie (Johnson) Glazier. Grant was a 2000 graduate of Annandale High School; attended two years at Ridgewater College in Willmar and the past year at University of Wisconsin - River Falls. He loved football and basketball, playing football at Annandale High School and basketball at all three schools. He loved his family and friends, bowling and video games. Grant was a gentle warrior. He was a giver in life as even in death by donating his organs.
Grant is survived by his parents, Connie L. Glazier and Grant`s step-father, Eric Thurston, Greg `Sonny` Glazier and companion, Nancy Fiske; brothers, Greg, Garett, and Gavin; sisters, Whitney and Randa; grandparents Lee and Betty Johnson; nephew, Hunter Kroeger all of Annandale; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Alberta Glazier and uncle, Steve Glazier.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Totz, Joseph Jarvis, Joel Miller, Derek Lundberg, Justin Mielke, Jesse Provo, Loren Cook, Brent Cook, and Jay Wolfsteller. The honorary pallbearers will be
Mike Dougherty, Scott Johnson, Craig Johnson, Ron Johnson, Steve Pellegrene, and Brad Fobbe.
The music for the service will be provided by Gina Pellegrene and Sarah Goelz.
