Obituary
Gordon W. `Gordy` Poirier, age 42, of Annandale died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at his residence.
Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Scott Jakel officiating. Friends may call two hour prior to the memorial service on Thursday.
Gordon Wayne `Gordy` Poirier was born August 4, 1960 in Grand Rapids to Wayne and Christina (Zaic) Poirier. He married Cindy L. Juetten October 16, 1999 in Annandale. He has lived in the Annandale area the past 15 years and has been employed by Landscape Structures of Delano for the past 12 years. Gordy loved his family, cooking, fishing, hunting, and designing things.
Gordy is survived by his wife, Cindy of Annandale; daughters, Nicole Poirier of Wasilla, AK, Samantha Smithson and Casey Jo Poirier both of Annandale; mother, Christina Poirier of Grand Rapids; sister, Vicky Johnson of Waldorf, MD; brothers, Steve and Wayne Poirier both of Grand Rapids; father and mother in law, Andy and Andrea Juetten of Annandale; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Murphy. His father preceded him in death.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
