Gloria A. Kovall, age 85, of Annandale, died on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Annandale Care Center. A Requiem High Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Traditional Catholic Church, Sartell with Fr. Nino Molina officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Gloria Ann Speikers was born on May 24, 1939, in New Prague, Minnesota to Henry and Christina (Soukup) Speikers. Gloria grew up in Montgomery and attended school until the 9th grade. Later in life, Gloria proudly obtained her GED. On September 18, 1954, Gloria married Ivan Flicek. They farmed near New Prague, and raised their five children. They lived in Crosby for a short time and later divorced. On June 27, 1984, Gloria married Willy Ackermann. Willy died in 1985, and on September 9, 1985, Gloria married the love of her life, Frank J. Kovall. Together, they made their home in Annandale. Gloria brought love and joy to all those she encountered. She exemplified grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in every aspect of life, from the simplicity of gardening to the artistry of crocheting and painting. Her culinary creations brought warmth and comfort to all who gathered around her table, and her wisdom and generosity knew no bounds. Family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, meant everything to Gloria, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Gloria graced this world with her kind and giving nature for 85 years. Gloria is survived by her children, Deborah Flicek Laschinger of Annandale, Mary Hindercheid of St. Petersburg, FL, John (Stephanie) Flicek of Le Center, Susan (Rick) Envey of Annandale and Jayne (Ron) Sticha of Savage; twelve grandchildren, Deanna, Mariah, Cassie, Josh, Hannah, Sarah, Alex, Tess, Molly, Karissa, Steven and Liz; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Christina Soukup; husbands, Ivan Flicek, Willy Ackermann, and Frank Kovall; and siblings, Henry Speikers, Deloris Kotek, Beatrice Turek, and Mary Speikers. Sgt. Taylor Flicek, Jordan and Nathan Picka, Dalton and Gregory Horejsi, and Joshua Stepka will serve as casket bearers.
