Glenn R. Bennett, age 76, of Kimball died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating. Burial will follow at Maine Prairie Cemetery, Kimball. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel in Kimball. Memorials are preferred to the Kimball Historical Society or the donor' choice.

Glenn Richard Bennett was born April 4, 1932 at Kimball to Alvin 'Rusty' and Mildred E. (Brower) Bennett. He was slowed down with polio in 1946; Glenn's will and determination allowed him to live a full life. He was a 1951 graduate of Grove City High School and was trained as a milk tester at the University of Minnesota. For 35 years he was employed by the Dairy Herd Improvement Association retiring in 1988. He enjoyed watching football, basketball & baseball games, playing cards, and stopping at the restaurant for coffee.

He is survived by brothers, sister & their spouses, Jerald of Bell, CA, Betty & Fred Gross of Oak Creek, WI, Robert of Buffalo, Frank of Las Vegas, NV, Gary & Dorie of Wyoming, MN; 9 nephews; 4 nieces; 6 great nephews; and 4 great nieces.
