Gladys M. Spaulding, age 92, of Kimball died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Heritage House of Kimball.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Kimball United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Felska officiating. Burial will follow at the Maine Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Gladys Marion Spaulding was born April 8, 1920 to George and Edna (Guptill) Lawler in Kimball. She was united in marriage to Milton Spaulding on June 11, 1940 in St. Cloud. Gladys worked at Fingerhut for over 20 years and was a member of the Kimball United Methodist Church. Gladys enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting and working. Her greatest accomplishment and joy in life was her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children & their spouses Luvern & Joyce of Shawnee, KS, Neal & Mary of Kimball, Joanne & Robert O'Leary of Plymouth, Norgean & Robert Fitch of Plymouth, Shari & Paul Sebastian of Falcon Heights and Janet & Douglas Randall of Fair Haven, 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents George & Edna Lawler, husband Milton, grandchildren Kelly Lynn Spaulding and Kendra Lisa Spaulding, brothers Justin and Ambrose Lawler and sisters Rose Ann Lawler and Alvina Schefers.
The pallbearers will be her grandsons Chris, Brad and Pat O'Leary, Todd, Chad and Jason Spaulding, Dan Fitch, Steven Randall, and Pierre and Preston Sebastian. Honorary pallbearers will be Kimberly Schrupp, Laura Meade, Nicole Jaeger, Bobbi Jo Fitch, Jody Randall and Paloma Sebastian. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
