George E. Hudson, Sr., age 73, of Waverly, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the St. Cloud V.A. Health Care Home.

Memorial Services will be held 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the KC Hall in Waverly.  Burial will be at a later date in the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery near Little Falls

George Edward Hudson, Sr. was born July 10, 1940 in Covington, KY to James and Ruby (Emery) Hudson.  He was united in marriage to Judith Blume on October 6, 1990 in Columbia Heights.  He enjoyed Buddy, playing pool, playing the bowling machine, listening to country western music and visiting and socializing.

He is survived by his wife Judy; sons George Hudson, Jr. and Matthew Hudson; step daughters Carol (Todd) Wendt and Margaret Brasch; grandchildren Melanie and George III; step grandchildren Jeremy (Jessica), Steven (Kari) and Christopher Brasch; seven step great grandchildren; sister Mary Goecke; brother Tom Hudson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings; and son-in-law Dean Brasch.
