Gary A. Sheldon, age 60, of Kimball, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Savanna Prairie in Kimball. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2020 at Fairhaven Cemetery in Fairhaven with Rev. Jeff Droogsma officiating. Feel free to stand or bring a lawn chair to sit in; dress casually and appropriately for the warm weather. A motorcycle procession will meet at Dingmann Funeral Chapel in Kimball at 10:30 a.m. on Monday to escort Gary's body to the grave. The service will be live-streamed for all those unable to attend in person. Gary Allen Sheldon was born April 11, 1960 in Blaine, Minnesota to Wayne and Joan (Dahl) Sheldon. As a young boy, Gary moved with his family to Kimball. He attended school in Kimball and graduated with the Class of 1978. Gary furthered his education in Sandstone. He worked as a machinist for Remmele Engineering in Big Lake for 25 years. Most recently, Gary worked for Cub Foods in Elk River. In his spare time, Gary enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, and spending time with his children, grandchildren and his friends. Gary is survived by his children, Jeff (Carissa) Marquart of Kimball and Hillary Marquart (Gary Meckle) of Annandale; 4 grandchildren, Trinity, Teara, Scarlet, and Rozaline; siblings, Steve Sheldon of Phoenix, Sandra Pool of Litchfield, Karen (Wayne) Marquette of South Haven, Larry (Elaine) Sheldon of Richmond, Maynard (Heidi) Sheldon of Watkins, Jody (Steve) Brose of Annandale, Wayne Sheldon Jr. of Kimball, John Sheldon of Litchfield, Janet Sheldon-Larson of Perham, and Danny Sheldon of Kimball; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Joan; brothers, Dennis and Jeffrey. Urn bearers will be Bob Carlson, Terry Larson, Gary Meckle and Dean Thompson.
