Gary A. Reikofski, age 62, of Watkins died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
There will be visitation after 3 p.m. with Memorial Services held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball.
Gary Alan Reikofski was born December 9, 1943 in Tilden, NE to Arnold and Helen (Johnson) Reikofski. From 1961-1965 he served his Country during the Viet Nam War in the U.S. Navy. He married Joann Pherigo March 14, 1970 in Minneapolis. Gary lived in Lincoln, NE where he was employed by Abel`s Concrete and for the past 18 years in the Kimball and Watkins area. He has worked for Denny & Dottie Serbus making clay pigeons. He was a former member of the Kimball American Legion Post #261. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, exploring on his computer, reading, fishing, cribbage, playing the lottery, and his sardines.
He is survived by his wife, Joann of Watkins; sons, Michael (Rita) of Kimball, Rick (Mandy) of Kimball; grandchildren, Kendra, Lance, KTlynn, & Victoria; sisters, Lona Bluhn of Greenwood, NE, Joan (Maynard) Scholl of Elgin, NE; and sister in law, Mary (Keith) Estes of Falls City, NE. His parents and brothers, Wade & Myron preceded him in death.
