Franklin C. Jarl, age 79, of Annandale, died Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud surrounded by the love of his family.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Albion Evangelical Free Church, Cokato with Rev. Philip Geoffrion officiating. Burial will follow at the Albion Free Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.  Memorials are preferred to the Albion Evangelical Free Church.

Franklin Charles Jarl was born May 23, 1936 in Annandale, Minnesota to Thomas and Mary (Stifter) Jarl. Frank was the co-owner and manager of A1 Marine in Annandale for over 20 years. He was an active member of Albion Evangelical Free Church. Frank was a sportsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved every day of his life.

Frank is survived by his children Jennifer Jarl of Rice, Thomas (Shelly) Jarl of Annandale, and Melanie Erickson of Sartell; 6 grandchildren Melissa, Dustin, Jonathon, Emily, Grace and Sam; 3 great grandchildren Madisyn, Emma and Jessa; brother Tom (Joyce) Jarl of Cokato; sister-in-law Donna Jarl of Brooklyn Center; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary and brother, Dave.

The pallbearers will be Dustin Erickson, Jonathon Green, Joe, David, Steve and Brian Jarl.  Linda Groos, Norma Geoffrion, Harley Wilson and Nate Wilson will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
