Frank Bennett, age 66, died September 23, 2009 at his residence in Las Vegas, NV.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Memorial Services at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with Rev. Bridget Haefner officiating. Interment will be at Maine Prairie Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Triple R Grill. Memorials are preferred to The National Pancreas Foundation.
Frank Bennett was born February 1, 1943 in Forest Prairie Township, Meeker County to Alvin 'Rusty' and Mildred (Brower) Bennett and graduated from Kimball High School in 1961. He owned & operated Golden Bear Packaging in San Jose, CA from 1983-1994. For the past 12 years he was a sports handicapper in Las Vegas. He was an avid sports enthusiast and a world traveler.
He is survived by his daughters Terri Bennett (Greg Miller) of Indianapolis, Tracey Ann (Tony) Collier of Shelbyville, IN, Lisa Jane Bennett of Indianapolis, their mother, Susan Abel, as well as 3 grandchildren, Alexander Bennett & Hannah Nicole Collier, Grace Miller; brothers & sister Jerald of Bell, CA, Betty (Fred) Gross of Oak Creek, WI, Robert of Buffalo, MN, Gary (Dorie) of Wyoming, MN, along with ten nieces & nephews and lifelong friend Ardis Rogers. His parents and brothers Glenn & Gene preceded him in death.
