Francis 'Bud' Pribyl, age 88 of Maple Lake, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his daughter's home with his family at his side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. David Hennen and Deacon Mike Medley will officiate and burial will be in St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish Prayers will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Francis Justin 'Bud' Pribyl was born September 17, 1921 in Buffalo, MN to Frank and Elizabeth (Lammerding) Pribyl. Bud graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1939. He was united in marriage to Annette Dorothy Krautbauer on October 8, 1947 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Monticello. Bud lived his entire life in the Maple Lake area, mostly working on his farm. He was also a co-owner of Progressive Dairy in Maple Lake, a manufacturer and distributor of frozen dairy products.
Bud was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Wright Saddle Club, Catholic Foresters, and Father O'Brien Council Knights of Columbus #3613. Bud enjoyed horses, working on the farm, and the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annette, of Maple Lake; children, David (Julie) Pribyl of Maple Lake, Alan (Sally) Pribyl of Burnsville and Connie (Steve) Schnabel of Buffalo; grandchildren, Mark, Gorden, Vickie, Steven, Anna, Courtney, Shaelee, Justin, Patrick, Christopher, Nichole, Russell, Adam, Jessica and Taylor; great grandchildren, Zachery, Trevor, Porter, Jacqueline, Gage, Kade, Jonathan, Christopher, Susie, Joseph, Ty, Kelsey, JuliAnna, Danica, Josie, Emma, Madison, Jeffrey, Tate, Daric, Toby, Aiden and Nathan; siblings, John 'Jack' Pribyl of Annandale and Mary Gruenhagen of Owatonna. Bud is preceded in death by his son, Frankie on July 25, 1978 and brothers, Vernon and Raymond.
The pallbearers will be Mark Pribyl, Gorden Heaver, Steven Pribyl, Justin Pribyl, Adam Schnabel, Russell Stuhr, Patrick Pribyl, Christopher Pribyl, Taylor Schnabel. Music for the service will be provided by Marge Pavlik, organist, Allison Totz, soloist, and St. Timothy's Resurrection Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
