Obituary
Mrs. Florence K. Rignell, age 98, of Annandale formerly Morris died Monday, February 16, 2004 at the Annandale Care Center, Annandale.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2004 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Scott Jakel officiating. Interment will be in Summit Cemetery, Morris. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral.
Florence Katherine Rignell was born May 3, 1905 in Freeman, SD to John and Katharina (Hoffer) Wipf. After high school she attended Freeman Junior College for two years and then graduated from the University of South Dakota at Brookings. She married Edgar Reynold `Eddie` Rignell August 18, 1930 in Hibbing and he preceded her in death November 18, 1983. Florence taught school for many years in Huron, SD. She practiced the Mennonite faith most of her adult life. Florence has lived in Annandale for the past 9 years previously living in Morris. She loved to fish and was a very special grandmother.
Florence is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Mathison of Annandale; grandchildren, Loren Mathison of Clearwater, Pamela (Brian) Kuhn of Foley, Dale Mathison of Clearwater, and Patti Mathison of Clear Lake; great grandson, Carter Kuhn of Foley.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
