Mrs. Fern M. Lorge, age 90, of Annandale died Monday, August 22, 2005 at the Annandale Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2005 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Father Mark Willenbring officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Braham. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Fern Mary Lorge was born April 1, 1915 in Birnamwood, WI to Leo and Mabel (Olsen) Bricco. She married John R. Lorge May 22, 1934 in Bear Creek, WI and he preceded her in death November 24, 1993. Fern was a homemaker and also worked 26 years for National School Studios, Minneapolis retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale. Her greatest joy in life was family, and with that she was blessed.
She is survived by sons, daughters and their spouses, Donald (Rose) of Elk River, Beverly (George) Hendren of Stanchfield, Jerry (Barb) of East Bethel, Lee (Joan) of Minneapolis, Judy Lundberg of Annandale, Tyler of Buffalo, Jack (Debbie) of Elk River, and Linda (Bruce) Crandell of Buffalo; brothers, John of Green Bay and Loy of Bear Creek; sister, Irene VanAdestine of Green Bay; 47 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Domain and Leonard; sisters, Gladys Martin and Florence Mathewson; granddaughter, Connie DeForest; great grandson, Christopher Lorge; and son in law, Dennis Lundberg.
Pallbearers will be Scott Lorge, George Hendren, Paul Lorge, Randy Lorge, Derik Lundberg, Jeff Lorge, Tony Crandell, and Jason Lorge. Music for the funeral provided by Dureen Gasser.
