Fern M. Foreman, age 82, of Kimball died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Heritage House of Kimball.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. David Milz officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairhaven Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service, Wednesday, both at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
Fern Margaret Foreman was born September 25, 1928 in Fair Haven to Edward and Clara (Brunko) Dahnke. She grew up and lived most of her life in Fair Haven, moving away for a short time to live in Maple Lake and Wahpeton, ND. She was united in marriage to Melvin Looman on July 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1964. On July 12, 1969, she was married to Harry Foreman and he preceded her in death on July 25, 1982. Fern worked on the assembly line at Franklin Manufacturing in St. Cloud for 14 years. She enjoyed creating crafts and watching Minnesota Twins Baseball. She loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children & their spouses, Larry & Julie Looman of Jackson, MO, Willy & Darlene Looman of Fair Haven and Lettie & Tony Mohr of Wahpeton, ND; sister, Joyce Kotzer of South Haven; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Clara Dahnke; 1st husband, Melvin Looman; 2nd husband, Harry Foreman; and brother, Myron Dahnke.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Christine Peterson, Jody Klinnert, Kelly Traurig, Angie Ranta, Greg, Heath, Cory and Chad Looman. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball
